Description   

Orc Breaks Ltd. (Camping and Campervanning) are a new facility which is fully serviced with kitchen/showers/ladies and gents restrooms. There are plenty of fish in our man made lake for those who like to wile away the ours sitting by the water waiting for a bite! Situated on the Wicklow/Carlow Boarder, in Ballysalla Upper, Hacketstown, we have a large piece (circa 10 acres) of reclaimed land, which has been landscaped and is perfect for pitching tents. We also have ample space for 8-10 campervans with power points, fresh running water from our own well and toilet draining facilities.

Our site is close to many local attractions including the Wicklow Way which runs by Tinahely (3km) we do offer a pick up service for walkers on the Wicklow way who can avail of our campsite for the night and we will bring them back to the point of pick up the next morning.

For the golf enthusiast there is a worldclass golf course in Coolattin (5km) with stunning course and beautiful club house.

Of course if you are not into any of these things and just crave some rest and relaxation then there is plenty of nice secluded and quiet areas (perfect for reading a book or just enjoying the views that surround you) Children will find plenty to do on the grounds of Orc with lots of play areas to keep them occupied such as a sand pit, goal posts, frog pond and for the older kids we have a number of inflatable boats so that they can have some fun on the lake while parents/guardians can enjoy a long awaited relaxing break and who’s to say you can’t join in with the kids if you are young at heart, there are no rules at ORC, just one, that you enjoy yourself and have the nice relaxing break that you deserve! Orc is a place to come if you would like to get in touch with nature and out of the hustle and bustle of daily life and to enjoy country living on a budget.
