Emlagh Pod provides accommodation in Co. Clare on the Wild Atlantic Way.
The pod is fully insulated and is furnished with a double bed, sofa bed, and a separate wet room with an open shower and toilet. The pod sleeps up to 4 people. There is a small kitchenette with a microwave and a fridge. The pod is located near the owners’ house it has its own private enclosure, wonderful views of the surrounding areas. There is also a play area for the children to relax after there journey.
Emlagh Pod is in Moyasta which is known for the fabulous West Clare Railway and Oyster farming. Poulnasherry Bay is a popular bird-watching spot within walking distance from the accommodation. It is just 3.5 miles from Kilkee which is famous for its sandy beaches, Pollock Holes, fabulous cliff walks, restaurants, and an active nightlife.
While you stay here you can walk or cycle the heritage trails. Golf is provided with courses in Kilrush, Kilkee, and Doonbeg.
Loophead Lighthouse and the Bridges of Ross are a short drive away on the Wild Atlantic Way. There are local restaurants on route for lunch or evening meals to relax after.
Kilrush is a heritage town just 4 miles away from where you can take a scheduled ferry to Scattery Island or visit the Vandeleur Walled Garden.
Doonbeg with its traditional pubs and live music and the renowned golf course is only 7 miles from the accommodation. Emlagh Pods are on the Wild Atlantic Way and the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and Doolin are 45 mins drive along the route.
